About the Lecture

Electrical energy storage is an emerging technology, and analysts expect this sector to evolve rapidly into a $200 billion industry. Electricity or electrons, a most useful of commodities, is difficult to store- this creates enormous problems of demand and supply. Climate change abatement needs clean electricity to run transportation and manage electrical power. All need high efficiency storage. This seminar discussed the technology challenges, the demand profile, and necessary policy initiatives, and detailed Electrovaya’s efforts in these areas.
