Undergraduate Application
This application is only for undergraduate students who:
- were NOT admitted directly into co-op from high school;
- have NEVER participated in Carleton University’s co-op program
If you were admitted from high school to a co-op option you be will contacted, no action required.
If you have already participated in Carleton University’s co-op program – STOP , do not use this application.
Contact the Co-operative Education Office now if you are unsure whether to proceed.
The following are a few of the requirements which must be met in order to be admitted to co-op.
Students must:
- Have a major CGPA of 8.0 or better (depending on program)
- Be registered in an Honours program that has a co-op option
- Be registered full-time in the term before you start a placement (i.e. for January placement, students must be registered in 2.0 credits in the Fall term)

Note: Applications for a first work term in Summer 2014 are now CLOSED!
The next available first work term is Fall 2014 – Winter 2015 – Apply by December 31st, 2013
