Alumni Connections
In partnership with the Carleton University Alumni Association, Co-op and Career Services invites all Carleton alumni to consider mentoring a student through Alumni Connections.
Alumni may share information such as:
- moving to a new city,
- sharing your career path, or;
- how to build a network, to name a few.
This is your opportunity to make an impact on a student’s career development, while developing your own leadership and coaching skills, and much more!
The Alumni Connections program is online and hosted by myCareer, via Carleton Central.
To create an account go here, https://mycareer.carleton.ca/register.htm Once your account is approved you will have access to the Alumni Connections module with myCareer.
If you already have an account, simply access the module from the top “black bar” of the menu system titled Alumni Connections, and fill out the secondary form within the module. A video detailing this can be viewed at the bottom of this page. Click video resource.
Co-op and Career Services will approve your profile within 1 to 3 business days after submission.
Alumni Connections is a new initiative. Over the summer months select groups of students will start to access the site. You may be contacted starting in May 2013. We anticipate an official launch to the entire student population by September 2013.
In the meantime, we ask you to do a few things:
- keep your contact information up-to-date on myCareer; and
- encourage other Carleton alumni to join Alumni Connections.
