Haida Spirits of the Sea was created for the Canada Pavilion of Expo 1998 in Portugal. Currently, it is listed as an exhibition of the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC) under 'History and Society'. The exhibit is about the Haida First Nation and presents the Haida primarily through images. This site is commendable for its collaborative effort between the museums, heritage institutions and several Haida organizations.

The Halifax Explosion, arguably the most momentous event in Nova Scotia’s history, had for decades been ignored by the rest of Canada, remembered only as one of many atrocities of the war to end all wars. The CBC Halifax's Halifax Explosion website's purpose is to bring together CBC’s resources and those of major research bodies, community groups and individuals, to chronicle the story of one of the worst man-made explosions in history and to show how the Halifax explosion and the hard lessons it taught effect our lives today.
