University residences, named after Ontario counties in the Ottawa Valley — Glengarry, Grenville, Lanark, Leeds, Prescott, Renfrew, Russell, Stormont and Dundas — provide homes to over 2,600 students in double and single rooms.
Senior residence fellows offer advice and counsel and help new students make a successful transition to university life.
The University Commons is the hub of residence life. Most students in residence meet here for their meals. The building also contains Fenn Lounge, offices, a convenience store, an arcade, pub and information desk.

Eight designated parking spaces are available on the east side of Stormont- Dundas House, near Para Transpo drop-off area.

Washrooms
No public washrooms in this building. Washrooms in the designated accessible suites on levels 1 and 2 are accessible.

Food/Beverages
Residence floors have TV lounges which are often crowded. Close to Oasis Cafeteria and to University Commons dining hall.
Existing Obstacles
Heavy glass doors at exterior west entrance; need for alternate emergency system for persons with hearing impairments; need for better signage system.
Remarks/Hints
Access into the building is regulated by security card access system which is accessible to wheelchair users. This may eliminate the problem of heavy doors but creates other access problems.
